This discussion call will focus on communities of care, and options for community responses to DV. Recognizing that many survivors do not want to call law enforcement, report injuries to doctors, or seek help from DV services due to shame and various barriers to access, the Bridges connect call will discuss how community members can be peer advocates to those experiencing violence. If violence starts and is learned at home, so too should prevention and response to violence.
