Become a valued member of the Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence and join us in our mission to end domestic violence in Arkansas. By becoming a member, you will have the opportunity to be part of a strong network of organizations, advocates, and individuals working together to support survivors, raise awareness, and advocate for change. Membership with ACADV provides access to valuable resources, training opportunities, and a platform to make a real impact in the lives of those affected by domestic violence. Together, we can create a safer and more compassionate Arkansas.

Membership Types

Individual Membership | $75

This membership is for individual people who would like to participate in domestic violence training as an advocate, recieve information on DV issues across the nation, and stay involved with ACADV through events and awareness.

Benefits of an Individual Membership
  1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops and/or conferences at no charge.
  2. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.
  3. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.
  4. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the state.
  5. Information and input on developing and pending legislation.
  6. Volunteer opportunities with ACADV & Shelter members
Dues

$75 annually

Organizational Membership

Dues are priced according to operational budget

This membership is for shelters who meet certain standards, support ACADV’s principles and mission. Shelters must apply for membership.

Specific Criteria and Requirements

Organizational Membership is available to those organizations which operate as autonomous, independent domestic violence shelters within the state of Arkansas, and meet the Program and Fiscal Standards, and are interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of ACADV and support of the ACADV Mission. The applicant agency will complete the Standards application process prior to membership.

Benefits of an Organizational Membership
  1. As an ACADV Organizational Member, your accountability will be provided through on-site monitoring on an annual basis, which will aid in professional credibility.
  2. Are eligible to receive Domestic Peace Funds.
  3. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops and/or conferences free of charge.
  4. Receive on-site technical assistance and training free of charge.
  5. Networking opportunities with Domestic Violence Service Providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.
  6. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence.
  7. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.
  8. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.
  9. Information and input on developing and pending legislations.
  10. Information on funding sources.
  11. Access to a wide variety of comprehensive domestic violence online training modules for staff. These online courses provide continuing education hours if applicable.
  12. Participate in Coalition’s Capacity Building Initiative.
Dues

Dues are annual and assessed on the sliding fee scale below, based on the program’s total operating domestic violence budget.

$0 – $10,000 | $95
$10,001 – $50,000 | $160
$50,001 – $100,000 | $220
$100,001 – $250,000 | $285
$250,001 – $400,000 | $345
$400,001 – and over  | $440

Provisional Membership

Dues are priced according to operational budget

This membership is for developing shelters, or shelters who do not meet the Organizational Membership criteria, but are supportive of the ACADV principles and mission. Must apply for membership.

Specific Criteria and Requirements

Provisional Membership is available to an organization that is a developing domestic violence shelter or does not meet the criteria for Organizational Membership and is interested in the activities of the ACADV and supportive of the Principles of ACADV and support of the ACADV Mission. An ACADV staff person will meet with Provisional Members to assist in a written plan detailing goals, objectives, and time frames in which they will meet Program and Fiscal Standards. Once Provisional Members are in compliance with Program and Fiscal Standards they are eligible for Organizational Membership. The applicant agency will complete the Standards process.

Benefits of a Provisional Membership
  1. Attend ACADV sponsored workshops and/or conferences at no charge.
  2. Trained ACADV staff person to assist in coordinating and providing technical assistance during Organizational development.
  3. Receive on-site technical assistance and training.
  4. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.
  5. Access to the most current and up to date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.
  6. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.
  7. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.
  8. Receive ACADV newsletters and training notifications across the state.
  9. Information and input on developing and pending legislation.

Corporate Membership is available to large corporations supportive of the activities of ACADV and supportive of the Principles of ACADV and support of the ACADV Mission, agency goals, and objectives.

Benefits of a Corporate Membership
  1. ACADV will provide on-site employee domestic violence training.
  2. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.
  3. Company logo on ACADV website.
  4. Access to the most current and up-to-date information on domestic violence issues across the nation.
  5. Agency recognition within ACADV materials, such as Newsletters, PSA’s, Brochures, etc.
  6. Access to the ACADV sponsored Clothesline Project and Silent Witness Project.
  7. Receive ACADV Newsletters and training notifications across the state.

  9. Members get a significant discount on in person training workshops.

Small Business Membership | $500

Small Business Membership is available to small businesses supportive of the activities of ACADV and supportive of the Principles of ACADV and support of the ACADV Mission, agency goals, and objectives.

  2. Networking opportunities with domestic violence service providers across the state at regional and statewide coalition meetings.
