Join House of Ruth Maryland for a comprehensive training on our abuse intervention curriculum, The Gateway Project: A Path To Nonviolence. The curriculum is a 28-week program designed for men who have used abusive behaviors toward an intimate partner. Authored by researchers, practitioners, and participants in Baltimore City, Maryland, this highly interactive curriculum is best suited for abusive partners who not only perpetrate oppressive behaviors, but may also experience systemic oppression as a member of a marginalized community. Lessons are designed to be accessible to a low-literacy population with high rates of trauma symptoms.
